Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor’s Relationship Is Reportedly “Not Too Serious,” But They’re “Trying to Make Long Distance Work”
Pete Davidson‘s fledgling relationship with Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor seems to be going along swimmingly despite an ocean keeping them apart. While the pair are reportedly “not too serious,” they’re still “trying to make long distance work.”
“Pete and Phoebe are still going strong despite not being able to physically spend time together,” a source confided in Us Weekly. “They keep in touch over text and FaceTime. Right now, they’re just focused on work…They’re not looking to rush things.” But the new couple might not have to be apart for too much longer, as the source added that Davidson is “hoping to visit her for her upcoming birthday,” on April 17. But regardless of any potential future plans, they’re just “seeing where their relationship goes” and “trying to make long distance work.” The insider continues, “They’re happy with each other. He makes her laugh. Pete is a good guy and definitely a charmer. He’s easy-going and fun to be around.”
Another source confirmed the duo’s casual dating status to Page Six, explaining that they’re “not too serious,” but “Pete must like her if he’s flying off to quaint little English villages to hang out with her on set.” Rumors that Davidson and Dynevor are seeing each other first started towards the end of last month when they were spotted together near her home in North London where she’s currently filming the second season of Bridgerton, as well as in Altrincham, Greater Manchester where Dynevor grew up and where her mom, actress Sally Dynevor, currently lives.
The good news is the next time Dynevor does come to visit the comedian in the States, he won’t have to take her back to his parent’s house. Two years after buying a home in Staten Island with his mom, Amy—the same home that was broken into last month—Davidson has finally moved out of the basement into a place of his own. The stand-up revealed in a recorded FaceTime call posted to TikTok over the weekend, “I just moved out of my mom’s house. I’m fully out. I got a pad.” According to the New York Post, that “pad” is a $1.2 million luxury condo on Staten Island, featuring two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline.
During a Weekend Update segment on SNL in February, Davidson teased that he was planning to relocate in the near future, joking that he spent his Valentine’s Day “eating chocolates and watching a movie with my mom, which is why I’m officially moving out of the house. One of us has to go…The thing is my mom is a lot like this show. No matter what I do, I’m never asked to leave. Also, they’re both really old and noticeably fatigued.”
