Lori Loughlin is getting a handle on the narrative, intentionally or not. The mother of two, whose name you know from either Full House, When Calls the Heart, the college-admissions scandal, or all of the above, completed her prison sentence this past December. The first photo of her since her release hit the wires on Wednesday, and it’s of her doing community service.
I love this sentence in Page Six; it’s just a description of what she’s wearing: “Loughlin was dressed casually in jeans and a ‘California’ sweatshirt, and accessorized with sneakers, a face mask, a Project Angel Food cap, and her wedding ring.”
She’s just a person doing everything here. Woman of the people in jeans. Healthy and thoughtful in a mask. Still married. In California. Also the hat is great: In the second week of February someone “leaked” to the press that Loughlin was nearly done with her 100 hours of court-ordered community service, but was also doing some service on the side at Project Angel Food. It’s a gorgeous tableau to hit the wires less than 10 days before the second anniversary of one’s arrest.
