Monday’s paparazzi photos of Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde attending a wedding together hand-in-hand came as a big surprise to even the stars’ biggest fans. But it seems there was at least one person out there who wasn’t shocked in the slightest by their apparently romantic relationship —James Corden.
The late-night talk show host and good friend of the pop star has apparently been helping these rumored lovebirds keep their burgeoning “romance a secret.” Corden reportedly lent Styles his Palm Springs home while the musician was shooting his part in Wilde’s new movie Don’t Worry Darling. A source told Page Six, “This relationship between Harry and Olivia is very new. Olivia has been directing Harry in the movie in Palm Springs and there were literally 10 people on the set because they were strictly adhering to COVID rules. Harry had been staying at James Corden’s house near Palm Springs during filming, and so they were able to be alone and keep their relationship very secret.” They added that, “everyone was really surprised — and rather delighted — when Harry brought Olivia as his date to the wedding and introduced her as his girlfriend.”
During the wedding ceremony, which Styles officiated, he also reportedly jokingly mentioned Wilde in a speech as his “girlfriend.” The source added that while there may be a 10-year age gap between them, “Harry doesn’t give a fuck about that sort of thing. They seem really happy together. He was openly holding hands and kissing Olivia.” After bringing the actress as his guest to his manager Jeffrey Azoff‘s intimate, Montecito wedding over the weekend, the pair were photographed together again on Monday at Styles’s home as they returned from the trip with luggage in tow. According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, “Olivia and Harry have become close and the pair have been spending a lot of time together in recent weeks. She has been seen visiting his home on several occasions.”
In November, it was reported that Wilde and her fiancé Jason Sudeikis had called off their engagement after over eight years together, but remain friendly exes after officially splitting at the beginning of the year. The former couple shares a 6-year-old son Otis and four-year-old daughter Daisy who, according to a source who spoke to People, “are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship.”
