IO Interactive’s upcoming stealth game Hitman 3 is just a month away from releasing across several platforms like the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. However, it seems the game will be most enjoyable on Sony’s next gen console, thanks to the DualSense controller.
Following the success of Hitman and Hitman 2, the expectations from Hitman 3 are high to say the least. It will conclude the trilogy, and Agent 47’s epic journey will eventually come to an end.
In a recent gameplay trailer, fans witnessed the game’s performance on the PS5, PS4 and PS VR:
Soon after the exciting trailer, the developers revealed Hitman 3’s DualSense controller settings.
Hitman 3 feels surreal on the PlayStation 5 owing to haptic feedback and adaptive triggers
The PlayStation 5 offers a plethora of features to enhance the gaming experience of its users, and Hitman 3 makes the best out of them. The game loads at lightning-fast speed and runs on 4K+60 FPS with HDR support.
The DualSense controller primarily comes into play while shooting. The adaptive triggers respond differently to every gun in Hitman 3 and generate a realistic effect with every shot fired. To say the least, it enables the players to feel the sensations of firing a weapon in actual life.
Now that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X have rolled out, all the attention…
The sound design of the game is equally good as it attaches a unique sound to every weapon. This, combined with the haptic feedback on the DualSense, makes the experience more immersive than ever.
The developers explained a specific instance where players have to activate the Focus effect. Apparently, the R2 trigger will resist the player’s pressure and they will have to have press harder to feel the ‘click’ and shoot.
Hitman 3 also has full PS VR support
If the PlayStation 5’s DualSense support isn’t convincing enough, Hitman 3 also supports PS VR. Players who own the previous two titles in the trilogy will be able to access over 20 locations within the latest edition. To ensure this, every Hitman 3 copy comes along with a free PS4 digital version of the game.
Last, but not least, the PS4 owners of the game will get a free next-gen upgrade when it releases on January 20, 2021.
