David Adefeso is celebrating the life of Donell Parker Williams. Check out the emotional message that David shared on his social media account to mark his memory.
‘To a true champ who showed us how to be humble in triumph, how to fight through adversity and how to rise above the day to day challenges of everyday life with a smile on your face and a kind word of encouragement for everyone you meet along the way,’ David wrote.
He continued and said: ‘From the courts of sunny LA all the way to the #NBA and then on to a more personal mission of indoctrinating our young children into the beauty and joys of basketball, you soared high above most and demonstrated the type of love Christ admonished us to have when he asked us to “love thy neighbour the way you love thyself”.’
‘#RIP Champion aka “D-Will” aka “LA” We miss you so much already, my brother. Look forward to seeing you on the other side someday,’ David said.
Someone said: ‘Prayers for your family. ❤😢’ and more people continued to post their condolence messages in the comments.
Another follower said: ‘Prayers for you and your family along with sincere condolences!’ and someone else posted this: ‘My deepest condolences to you, your family and friends. May the comforting blessings of the Lord be merciful on his soul and guide and strengthen those he left behind🙏🏽🙏🏽.’

‘Just landed in Raleigh NC with family and friends to celebrate the life of our dearly departed brother who passed away too soon—at the tender young age of 40 Christ alone comforts the grieving. So we ask for his blessings and mercy for our dearly departed brother and the beautiful family he left behind. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1’ David captioned his post.
